# VPN collection policy

This policy explains what limited data Wave Host collects for VPN services and why.

### What We Collect

* Basic account details required to provide service (for example: account ID, email, and billing status).
* Operational and security metadata needed to run the VPN platform (for example: connection timestamps, session duration, total bandwidth usage, server/region selected, and abuse or security events such as failed authentication attempts).
* Support history when you contact us.

### What We Do Not Collect

* We do not monitor or log the contents of your traffic.
* We do not log your browsing activity, DNS queries, or the destination IPs of your connections.
* We do not sell your VPN data to third parties.

### Why We Collect Data

* To provide and maintain VPN access.
* To troubleshoot connectivity issues you report.
* To prevent abuse, fraud, and violations of our policies.
* To respond to valid legal requests.

### Data Access and Retention

* Access is restricted to authorized staff who require it for operations, support, or security.
